Kuta

Kuta is one of Indonesia's most popular tourist destinations, perfect for anyone looking for sun, sea, sand and partying!

Kuta was a fishing village until it underwent major tourist development to become the tourist hub that it is today. It's the party central of the island where you can find tons of restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs, hotels and much more.

Jalan Legian is the party strip, whilst Jalan Pantai Kuta (next to the beach) and Poppies Lane II are great for shopping, eating or if you're looking for somewhere to stay. Some of the best places to party include Sky Garden, Bounty Discoteque and LXXY Bali, but you'll be spoilt for choice!

Kuta is also popular among surfers who take advantage of the impressive waves on Kuta Beach, one of the liveliest beaches in Bali. Even if you aren't a surfer, there are lots of beginner courses and lessons offered in the area, and there are also lots more water sports you can do on the beach.

Some fun activities in Kuta include the Waterbom water park, Upside Down World, the Pandora Experience escape game, the 5GX Reverse Bungee and Circus water park.

There are also some cultural activities and sights in Kuta such as Vihara Dharmayana Temple, a show at the Kuta Theatre, the Museum Kain, the Bali Memorial or the Mads Lange Tomb
